Stereogram-like patterns from the ECA rule 105
Yesterday my 5 years old son found our lost anaglyph glasses (red-blue plastic glasses for watching 3-D images) at the same time when I admired patterns produced by the ECA rule 105. Suddenly, I got an idea to try and some fast results are attached below. Believe or not, but if you see them through the red-blue glasses, these unaltered CA images resemble stereograms (try changing zoom levels and rotate left/right):
