What is the timeline for each chapter? Stephen's computer nomenclature seems to fall in the 1945- 1960 range. Is he dealing with calculators or MainFrame Computers. I got into computers when the Commodore 64 hit and applications when the Amiga was made and none of his nomenclature matches any of the Amiga LSD doc documents. Were these chapters excerpts from his diary that he kept in being exposed to scientific and mathematic and computer processes?

I have read first 3 chapters 15 times.

Thanks for being public about your frustrations and explaining processes in a truthful calculating way. Now we have to put poetry to it to get general public into science and not use as many symbols as they have in needlepoint for colors. Where every pattern has a different set of symbols for the colors.

Systems and Instinct vs Tendancy

I am posing this
I understand instinct to be constructed of signs

Enough that I together with all living beings have an instinct to sustain existence.

Elbert Benjamin

Struggling over signs builds instinct and scope.

Tendancy is the parts that become a scene. That supply a scope and the hungers(data) that feed it.

These understood produce a system?
