Hello all,

I am using the command ContourPlot and everything was fine until I decided that I wanted to label my contours.

Searching the wolfram website I found a thread where the option ContourLabels is suggested as the way to deal with this.

ContourPlot[ x y,{x,-1,1},{y,-1,1},ContourLabels->Automatic]

This does not work for me (the ContourLabels option is NOT recognised by my version of Mathematica (5.1) ). Did any of you use it successfully?

originally written by Tom Wickham-Jones in 1993 and modified by Daniel Dubin in 2002. This is supposed to be labelling contours but I do not know where to install it on my computer and how to call it in a notebook in order to be able to use it.

Any help on this would be most appreciated.
