I devoted a good part of my May meeting of =EQUALS= to an introduction to the idea of rules generating output and some demonstrations of the various classes of behavior. About 15 people, ranging from 5th graders to 60-year-olds. I had them play with the spreadsheet I wrote, with rules, starting conditions, and probabilities, and if they found something neat, we simply input on the main screen. It was a really cool hour!
