Math Contest Announcement

http://www.kansascity.com/2011/11/2...o-the-math.html

A math-test unlike most, in that the math involved is very simple - it's thinking about the problem that takes most of the work.

And to help the student, there's a spreadsheet with animations for several of the problems, to provide help gain a bit of intuition into the problem.

The questions also are intended to provide a brief look at different subjects: astronomy, statistics, geometry, fractals, and yes, NKS.

Problem #9 is a simple Pascal's triangle, but the spreadsheet tab is the animated 1d-eca.

Take a look - give it a try!
