Witten + Wolfram = COSMOLOGICAL REVOLUTION
Is Edward Witten one of the greatest mathematicians of all time? He won the Fields Medal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Witten
As a physicist, is Witten perhaps on a par with Dirac? Well, Dirac predicted the existence of antimatter — where is Witten’s profound empirical prediction? Have Witten and the other geniuses of M-theory done profoundly important work on the physical nature of the informational structure of black holes and the multiverse? Is there one ESSENTIAL missing ingredient? Is that one ingredient the physically valid method of calculation for M-theory? Should M-theorists write down a list of names of 100 geniuses to help in the search for the method of calculation? Should Stephen Wolfram’s name be on the list? Consider Wolfram’s wikipedia entry:

Consider 3 hypotheses:
(1) NATURE IS FINITE AND DIGITAL.
(2) THERE EXIST A HUGE, BUT FINITE, NUMBER OF ALTERNATE UNIVERSES.
(3) THE MAXIMUM PHYSICAL WAVELENGTH EQUALS THE PLANCK LENGTH TIMES THE FREDKIN-WOLFRAM CONSTANT.
Is it plausible that the 3 preceding hypotheses actually do explain dark matter, dark energy, and perhaps other cosmological puzzles? Well, if not, then shorten the list by one name. I SAY THIS: THROW OUT THE OTHER 99 NAMES — TEAR UP THE LIST INTO LITTLE PIECES AND FLUSH THEM DOWN THE TOILET — BECAUSE THOSE WHO BET AGAINST WOLFRAM ARE FOOLS! As a physicist, Wolfram is on a level with Newton and Einstein! As a physicist, Witten is on a level with Dirac! Remember this: WOLFRAM RECEIVED HIS PHD FROM CAL TECH WHEN HE WAS 20 YEARS OLD! He is a stone cold genius! Steven Weinberg is a genius and he gives a thumbs up to Witten’s work. Witten is a stone cold genius.

Note added Feb. 23, 2011 CE: I now think that Seiberg-Witten M-theory with the Copenhagen interpretation can never be refuted because modified M-theory with Wolfram's automaton can never prove that nature is completely finite and digital. However, by adding 4 or 5 new physical hypotheses, I think that Seiberg-Witten M-theory can explain dark matter, dark energy, and all of the Planck-scale puzzles of nature. If M-theory predicts the Rañada-Milgrom effect, then there shall be a debate about whether everyone comes back to life and then dies, over and over, approximately every 81.6 billion years. If quantum field theory is 100% accurate unless spacetime breaks down, then particle accelerators are unlikely to prove the validity of M-theory; thus, the GZK paradox might be essential for testing M-theory. If D. Brown is wrong about paradigm-breaking photons in the GZK paradox then D. Brown is a crackpot. Is the GZK paradox explained by inverse Compton scattering from relativistic jets? If D. Brown is correct about paradigm-breaking photons, then the people of the world have the prediction that they shall die and be brought back to life to live their lives over and over in an inescapable run-loop within Wolfram's mobile automaton.
