M-theory, Wolfram, and paradigm shift
Does M-theory need a paradigm shift? Does all of physics need a paradigm shift? Would this paradigm shift make the paradigm shifter a greater theoretical physicist than Newton and Einstein?
If the insane paradigm-shifter is wrong, then he or she would be a crackpot. If the insane paradigm-shifter is correct, then he or she would be THE CRACKPOT MESSIAH. Either way, the insane paradigm-shifter has problems.
Feedback from Harvard M-theorists in the form of blocked email indicates that the M-theorists believe Witten is a great genius but that Wolfram is not a great genius and that his NKS Chapter 9 is crackpot stuff. The Harvard M-theorists are wrong. NKS Chapter 9 gives us the GREATEST HYPOTHESIS IN THE HISTORY OF COSMOLOGICAL PHYSICS, namely,
THE MAXIMUM PHYSICAL WAVELENGTH EQUALS THE PLANCK LENGTH MULTIPLIED BY THE FREDKIN-WOLFRAM CONSTANT.
The absence of the preceding hypothesis in contemporary physics is the source of the failure of M-theorists to make empirical predictions. By assuming the f(div) theory of modified general relativity with a nonzero cosmological constant, the M-theorists can create modified M-theory with a modified 11-dimensional domain, which is the smoothing out of an automaton called the Nambu transfer machine.
A huge, but finite, number of alternate universes exist. In each observable universe, digital information from the Fredkin-Wolfram substrate below the Planck scale gradually builds digitized pieces of Nambu-time, Nambu-space, and Nambu-energy embedded within the Nambu transfer machine. The digitized Nambu information is then distributed into digitized physical information embedded within the physical phenomena of general relativity theory and quantum field theory.
What is the main empirical point of modified M-theory? Black holes are not precisely as they are in contemporary unmodified M-theory. Instead, black holes are weirdly digitized. These weirdly digitized black holes occasionally spew out incredibly energetic photons that explain the GZK paradox in ultra-high-energy cosmic rays. The main empirical point of modified M-theory is to precisely predict the probability distributions of these paradigm-breaking photons.
Dark matter and dark energy are alternate-universe phenomena that contradict Einstein’s equivalence principle. Modified M-theory precisely explains dark matter and dark energy.
IF THE PRECEDING SCENARIO IS WRONG, THEN D.B. IS A CRACKPOT.
If D.B. is THE CRACKPOT MESSIAH, then THOSE M-THEORISTS WHO BELIEVE D.B. ARE FIRST IN LINE FOR THE NOBEL PRIZE.
Does an intellectual leader inspire confidence and display commitment (possibly to a mental hospital)?
Consider the following 2 conjectures:
The Riemann Hypothesis is true but unprovable in ZF (Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory).
The hypothesis that (P does not equal NP) is true but unprovable in ZF.
If it is not the case that both of the preceding hypotheses are true, then D.B. promises to douse himself with gasoline and set himself on fire. Shall there be a large flock of M-theoretic apostles of D.B.'s Cosmological Revolution? From among this large flock shall there emerge at least twenty Nobel Prize winners? Consider the following hypothesis:
The existence of PARADIGM-BREAKING PHOTONS emerging from black holes might be the greatest scientific prediction ever made.
