Hi,

I want to model some biological and natural pattrens with CA, but i don't understand the reasoning principles.(the dimension, the states,the initial condition, neighbors and the rules of course ).

So can you explain me how can i model the growth of plants like in 400 page of NKS ? I don't understand the initial condition, even the single cell how it is modeled?
