Rudy Rucker reviews Seth Lloyd's new book

Seth Lloyd has a recent book, "Programming the Universe", that makes a case for a quantum computational universe. That basically agrees with the computational view of NKS, but suggests that the underlying computations occur as a quantum computer computation via QM physics, rather than seeing QM physics as itself an emergent consequence of an underlying computational generator, as Wolfram suggests.

Rudy Rucker has a fair and readily accessible review of it on his blog, here -
