The Wolfram Science Group's Todd Rowland is giving an invited talk for the CIIT Centers of Health Research in Research Triangle Park, NC on Friday, February 17, 2006.

A New Kind of Science and its implications for biology

Abstract - This talk is going to cover the basic concepts of a New Kind of Science, the science begun by Stephen Wolfram, which focuses on simple programs and their applications. I will also talk about the implications that are specific to biology, the way we think about biological processes and the way we think about mathematical models.
