Euclid's Snow at Night
“New Kind of Science” 2-dimensional Cellular Automata

Wolfram’s “A New Kind of Science” detailed the process and nomenclature for many 2-dimensional cellular automata structures. These 2-dimensional cellular automata “snowflakes” represent 40 iterations of 144 non-trivial, random “5-neighbor outer totalistic” rules, starting from a single seed. To accommodate the title “Snow at Night”, the underlying colors have been reversed.
