Klaus Sutner taught a course this past year on Computational Discrete Mathematics at Carnegie Mellon. He has some course materials online that I thought might be of interest to others here.

The "computation" link on that page points to another than includes 3 detailed Mathematica notebooks on topics covered in the course, from analysing finite state machines to composing cellular automata etc.
