Here's some new cellular automata music I made for fun over my Christmas vacation:

I'm also working on a Java program that has Turmites roam over the (two-dimensional (well, three, actually, but never mind)) Just Intonation five-limit lattice. I think this is a very natural and what I like to call 'transparent' mapping from simple programs to musical melodies. But it's not quite done yet. I hope to get at least a beta version released within the next month.

I finished a first version of my Just Intonation Turmite applet:

I still need to make enhancements, such as the ability to input the Turing machine program you wish to use. If you have other suggestions, please let me know
If you cannot view this Java applet, please let me know which OS/browser combination you had problems with. (I've only been able to test it so far on Mac OS X with the Safari and Netscape browsers.)
