Hello everyone.
I would like some information regarding an evaluation problem I have with mathematica 5.0
I am trying to solve a 5x5 nonlinear system that takes forever to solve and ends up using more than 900 MBs of swap memory...
I applied the same equations in a different math program which I dont mention here only to avoid being accused of advertising and it came up with the solution in less than 2 seconds...
the entire command is as follows (I hope it doesn't get mangled too much through html)... I also attach it as a notebook file....
Any Ideas?...thx

I think you want MathGroup, not the NKS Forum. For general Mathematica questions...
