64K or Less -- The Demoscene


I've mentioned some of these before. There is a regular competion for scenes done in 256 bytes. The assembly code for many of these is freely shared (I give links in the article) -- it would be interesting to modify these with automata to make a stunning 256 byte demo.

I know this thread is ehm 8 years old, but it happened to mention the demoscene.
Here's one work i made early in january this year. is 128 bytes. video, executable and assembly code can be seen here:

last year i also made one 32 byte demo, which has more like an cellular automaton behaviour (but still not quite): it looks and eventually evolves into random behaviour, but starts of with moving some complicated structures. it also has sound.
