Interesting short article.
Are there similarities between the TOE and nks? (although TOE is
a unified theory and nks more a methodology) Short article
but it opens the door...

QUOTE...
Today, the search for a unified field theory has been replaced by loftier goals. Physicists are now looking for a so-called Theory of Everything (TOE) which will unify not only electromagnetism and gravity, but also the nuclear interactions and the fifth force. At the time of Einstein, modern particle physics had not yet been developed and the strong and weak nuclear interactions were not well understood.

I have a somewhat NKS style Theory of Everything.

The basic idea is that previous attempts to a Model of Everything take this approach:

Assume that three things exist. Matter, Space, and Time. With these three assumptions we can proceed to model all phenomena.

My approach is different:

Assume that one thing exists. Action. With this one assumption we can model all of matter, space, and time.

This different approach is much more compatible with NKS and much more likely to be a successful Theory of Everything.

Using three postulates:
1. Nature is a set of information produced by the rules governing interactions
2. Matter, Space, and Time emerge from this information, consequences of an interaction
3. The agents and processes of the rules exist in a system of information that encompasses the system of nature and includes unique versions of matter, space, and time

I have developed a hypothesis that is currently unrefuted, though not widely recognized. Enjoy:

I read it Mike. Your Ideas are well stated and very interesting.
I'm just digesting most of the ideas since I'm just a hobbiest
at this ...

I'm following a thead of investigation that started with the
Gravity Probe B which will test Einsteins realtivity..

The unified field theory take on things is a real blast.
I find it most interesting because it trys to unify the
distinction between matter and space (pure object, pure field)
I'm sure this is old hat to most here.

Other aspect of this stuff is very cool....

" The general theory of relativity shows that gravitational field is curve deformation of space-time; the quantum field theory also shows that vacuum is the ground state of quantum field; moreover, fundamental particles can be produced and annihilated in vacuum. All these show that vacuum is not real empty, vacuum has the properties which matter has."

and below this another state called ether. (Apparently Einstein
did not intend to negate the idea of etherial space..

"Einstein was aware after he put forward the general theory of relativity that the space and ether had some comparability, but also they had some essential difference. He said in a lecture in 1920, according to the general theory of relativity, the space is endowed with some physical properties, so in this sense the ether is in existence. According to general relativity, the space without ether is unimaginable. Because in such space, not only cannot the light transmit, but also the ruler and clock cannot exist, so there is no distance of space-time in physical sense. But we cannot consider that the ether has the properties which the mediums with weight have, we cannot also consider that it consists of some particles which motions can been followed, moreover, the concept of movement cannot be applied to it. "

Vacuum as a medium with material properties and a base state
below that purely etherial.
Awsome....
