Does such a research program exist?
How do I follow its progress?
Do you need any help?
I'm not a physicists or anything, but I got a pretty sweet idea.
See... most people think this is how the Universe looks:
OPTION A:
Objective World -> mind ->Subjective Experience
And thus when they go to build a model of the objective world, they sort of leave off the mind and subjective experience.
But this is how I think the Universe looks:
OPTION B:
. . . . . . /-> mind -> Subjective \
. . . . . . |-> mind -> Subjective |
. . . . . . |-> mind -> Subjective |
. . . . . . /-> mind -> Subjective \
absolute -> mind -> Subjective -> Objective world
. . . . . . \-> mind -> Subjective /
. . . . . . |-> mind -> Subjective |
. . . . . . |-> mind -> Subjective |
. . . . . . \-> mind -> Subjective /
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . \______relative_________/
With this picture in mind, now when you go to model the objective world, you begin with absolute matter, monads, built into compound structures.
The idea is hopefully, through the complexity of structures in the model, one of them would posses the capability of making measurements of the other structures.
That model of the act of measurement represents the objective world as a consequence of measurement.
In other words, phenomena like the length contraction, time dilation, and the uncertainty principle only apply to relative matter, and not the monads or its compound structures.
Only to the measurement, which isn't represented by any particular monad, but by information encoded amongst their relationships.
