The possible cosmic significance of a new kind of science?

Dear all,

I am a researcher in philosophy of cosmology, and I recently got interested in computer simulations and artificial life, connecting them with the far future of the universe. I argued in a paper that I just finished that computer simulations constitute indeed a "new kind of science" of possible cosmic significance. I thus thought you might be interested to have a look at the paper which will soon be published as:
