A great deal of new work in the history of set theory has shed important light on the role of natural mathematics in various twentieth-century theories, particularly on the role of "natural" coincidence in the relativity of simultaneity. Here is a paper which uses some of the new literature. Above all, you should read Garciadiego's BERTRAND RUSSELL AND THE ORIGINS OF THE SET-THEORETIC 'PARADOXES.'
